Time management is pretty much the hardest subject for Internet marketers to deal with, particularly because they always have more to do and not enough time to do it in. Every day there are new marketing strategies and more competition which can make the life of an Internet marketer really hard and sometimes even a little bit confusing. So what solves this problem? It’s not that hard; you need to focus on the things that allow you to achieve more in even less time so that you can get as much from your work without having to truly worry about any of the results.

Mike Dillard with the Elevation Group is a great example of what one person can do when making the most of your time. Mike has created four multi-million dollar businesses. He’s a great model to follow

Get good with online apps that help you increase your productivity and bring down your workload. There are many tools on the web that are free of cost and can do wonders when it comes down to helping you get more work done.

For example, using paper for your to-do list is fine but if you are trying to manage a virtual workload, wouldn’t it be a better idea to keep your to-do list on the internet too? You can use any number of online tools to manage your to-do lists. This is just one example, there are so many other tools that can help with other areas of your productivity. Work against your kitchen timer; this method can double your speed and raise your productivity too. You can achieve quite a lot more when you apply this one method to your work; as you work against the time on the timer you will be incentivized to work harder faster and you’ll get quite a lot more done. If it usually takes you around twenty minutes to complete a 500 word article, set your timer for ten minutes and try to meet your goal. Obviously you need to make sure that the quality of your work doesn’t go down in your attempt to do it quickly.

The true secret to maintaining your focus is to work in chunks; it is super easy to be exhausted and feel drained when you work too hard for too long and that sort of thing can really get in your way. Instead of multi-tasking yourself into a failure, focus on one thing at a time and get it finished. This helps you remember the direction in which you want to head and you won’t have a bunch of things taking up space at the back of your head and slowing you down. Make sure you cut your work up into smaller chunks so that you can get more done without feeling like you need to quit.

Every single Internet marketer wants to earn a six figure income from a business that runs on auto-pilot. But if you truly want to help your online business get to that point, the first thing you need to do is perfectly manage your time. When you do this, you’ll be able to reach more of the goals you have set in a lot less time. Even though there are lots of reasons why it will be hard for you to tap into your productivity, when you start putting these tips to work, you will see just how quickly things start to fall into place for you.
