Unusual Work Outs To Use In Exercises
April 30, 2012 on 6:08 am | By Chris | In Silverstreet | No Comments“
What I saw was a little bizarre.
Ive been a trainer for years, and this was something brand new to me. This guy was standing up, holding a weight plate and pretty much pretending to steer a car. He was even gritting his teeth and grunting (I kid you not).
Was he trying to increase his overall driving strength? Who knows. The good news is this he gave me a great idea to help you with your workouts and bootcamps. You love new stuff, right?
Who doesnt?
Here are some weird exercises that are different than the usual pushups and squats. Over the years, Ive learned these dandy tricks from other awesome trainers and coaches like Craig Ballantyne, Alwyn Cosgrove, John Romaniello and more. You can use these with your workouts to add some spice, and if you use them with your bootcamp workouts, than your campers will come back just because you offer something different than the other bootcamps.
Weird Exercise # 1 Spiderman Climb with a Reach (AKA SCREACH) Spiderman Climb with a Reach (SCREACH) Brace your abs. Start in the top of the pushup position. Keep your abs braced, pick one foot up off the floor, and slowly bring your knee up outside of your shoulder and touch your foot to the ground. As you reach the top of the motion, rotate your upper body to point your arm toward the ceiling.

How To Reanimate Your WordPress Blog
March 22, 2012 on 9:38 am | By Chris | In Silverstreet | No CommentsThis tale has surely happened to you. Someone starts a blog. Then the blogger, who started out full of excitement, gets distracted by a dozen other online ventures. In some cases, the blog owner believes that it’s enough to only update the blog once in a while. In some cases, online marketers are spread so thin that they can’t give enough attention to all of their projects. No matter what caused the situation, it’s never to late to resuscitate a blog. We’ll now look into some reliable ways to re-energize a blog that’s been fading out of view.
One of the challenges is it simply takes time for your blog to gain some age and authority in the eyes of the search engines. This can take 3-4 months or even longer. So patience is critical. In the meanwhile, consider joining Empower Network which comes complete with an authority blog you can use to rank content on now for immediate traffic, leads and sales.
Do you remember that huge bunch of “evergreen” content you created for publishing later? Now is the time to start using it. You can slowly publish these pieces while you work on more topical content. After all, isn’t that why you created (or bought) this content in the first place? If you never did create such content, or you’ve already used it all up, you should consider getting some now. This is where relevant and low priced PLR comes in handy, as long as you take the time to make it unique. It’s better to publish them a little at a time, so you can start getting consistent about updating your blog once again. Have you considered taking a whole new approach with your blog? The way you originally created your blog might have been perfect back then, but it may not be the right thing anymore. If your blog has, up until now, been mainly written entries, you may want to think about making videos. On the other hand, if video has long been your forte, why not try writing text entries? Maybe your blog needs some new images to give it some sparkle. This will help you gain a renewed interest in your blog. It will be exciting for your readers because they won’t know what to expect -everybody wins!
One of the main challenges bloggers face is not having sufficient time to consistently post to their blogs. Many bloggers are very good about it early on, but the real question is, can you blog consistently enough to keep your readers happy? Not many people can do this. There’s no law saying you have to write all of your posts, so what you can do is ask your readers and other bloggers to write articles for your blog. This can add something to your blog, and also take some of the pressure off of you to write every day.
Your blog will then become more diverse, and you can focus on creating the best possible posts along with the ones your guests write for you.
Almost every blogger ends up with at least one blog that starts to fade from lack of attention. As we’ve seen, there are ways to make your blog active and healthy once more.
If you want your blog to return to life, just apply the above strategies and tactics. You can turn things around faster than you think.
